20 Random Things About Me
Okay, these things are not weird. different perhaps... just quite interesting facts about me...
1. I've been dyeing my hair since 6th grade. I genetically have 30-40% white hair. My hair seem to be crying right now with all the chemicals it has undergone.
2. I'll have a headache if i don't get to drink my morning dose of caffeine.
3. I'm more of a listener than a talker. Talking much makes me feel giddy. Literally. Energy is sucked from me every time i utter too many words. So i hate it when i orient a newbie. I cannot work in a call center. LOL!
4. I'm right handed but i use my left hand when using my mouse.
5. I'm making much effort not to eat pork and/or beef. For health and vanity's sake.
6. I looovve spending sunrise in the beach. The feeling of the cool breeze and semi-warm water is sooo euphoric. It's an instant natural high.
7. I regularly drink tomato juice.
8. My best friend died at 20. She had acute pancreatitis.
9. I love rock music! especially the 90's rock. This too since 6th grade! The likes of STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, Greenday, RHCP, =) I rarely like love songs.
10. I don't know how to entertain men in the romantic sense. All my boyfriends were "pushed" to me by concerned friends. LOL!
11. I'm a morning person. So much energy in the morning. Always looking forward for the day ahead.
12. I make my own accessories. Braclets, anklets, necklace, and earrings.
13. I love lifestyle, health, fashion magazines! Its a must that i get to read them at least once a week.
14. Chocolates and beer keep me sane.
15. Our family only has one set of relatives (my mother's sister's family) in this city. And we are not even close. All else are in Luzon & Visayas. So during "family" gatherings.. its basically just us.
16. My favorite minor subject in college was Philosophy. I was not the typical hand-up student, I just listen. I get entertained by the lecture. I neither felt bored nor sleepy. My philo notebooks were all filled with a vast web of scribbles from the lecture. And i was not even looking at our professor.
17. I don't drink Softdrinks!
18. I love to walk. It's my best exercise. I usually walk for 25 minutes after i get off from work. Of course, i change my footwear into comfy ones.
19. I don't like sci fi movies. Or action movies where the lead stars don't even get a scratch from all the action. Just so unrealistic.
20. I have strong faith in God. =)

Sad life
The bf is doing the rock once again. no smiles. no tears. neutral. Once again absorbed in his own world.
on his own thoughts.
with his own happiness.
He's off to another place, without promises when to come back. Who am i to prevent his dreams?
From the beginning, i have known that I am just an add-on in his life.
Superfluous.
Extra.
I can make his life better. He can have someone to talk to, to hold his hands with. To share food with. But without me, oh! he will be JUST FINE. No dramas. No doubts.
Yes, there is a person like him. Personally fulfilled without women, even without friends in his life. He's extra independent. Strong-willed. Determined. He has priorities: HIS CAREER... and that does not include me. Oh just how sad is that =(
He resembles male korean soap stars, driven by their pride and focused on their success. It's just that... in my reality, he does not fall inlove. Coz he already is... with his own life.

Hola España!
Damosa is definitely turning into a mini metropolis. A few years back, i still remember it grew dense carabao grass where the land owner's helicopters landed. Now there are already several establishments in place and the population is growing by and by.
Last Saturday, engineer and I tried the newly opened Spanish Resto called Hola España. The place is chic and the ambience is quite "Españoly" hehe. Engr and I are fond of trying new places, and this resto rung a bell since engr's late granpop was a full-blooded español :D...
They have great customer service :) I think their house specialty is the paella but we weren't able to try that. Instead we ordered...
For a starter, they served us this bread toast with butter and a sort of a corn filling :)
Prawn Bisque -- such a hearty soup!
The main course -- Callos: ox tripe with sausages, olives, tomato sauce, and other bits & pieces
On our next visit, we're going to try their paella :D

Calle Cinco
Friday night, the engr and I dediced to get boozed. We went to c5 along Roxas Avenue and ordered our drinks. At around midnight, two kids approached us and asked for food. We usually shoo these kids away baka kasi sindikato lng and drain the coins from our pockets. Well, after substantial interrogation, the poor kids were indeed starved =(

It's really nice to make other people happy. Even though they forgot to thank us, we knew that in their hearts they were so thankful they finally had something to eat.
